Play as Talih, who has left their home and everything they have ever known behind. It’s a harsh winter, with dangers lurking in the dark.

After being saved by an elven ranger and brought back from the brink, they must battle within themself whether to hang onto hope or to give into their own despair.

This atmospheric fantasy game was made in the last month and is a homage and love letter to my favourite piece of fantasy work: Lord of the Rings. It was created for the Phantasia Game Jam (2023).

It’s short and sweet, around 6400 words and covers one night in a wanderer’s journey to find safety when everything else around them has changed, and wrestling with the fact that you can no longer go back home.

I also got to try my hand at limited animated backgrounds, with some snowfall and fires crackling away, along with a designated main character and sprite.
