Untouched by the Frost

Ahhhh I enjoyed this so much!! It has such a warm cozy vibe to it (and probably doesn't help that the weather is getting colder too so I'm craving some cozy stories lkadjfsad). I enjoyed the soft yet fleeting relationship between Faeldir and Talih. It was such a spot of warmth (literally) amid the chill vastness of the snowy world outside. And I loved that it felt like a smaller story amongst a much larger world. Talih will go on to do more after this, they have to keep pressing forward, but they'll have the memory of this kind moment with Faeldir to take with them. Likewise, Faeldir will stay at the outpost to continue his duty, but perhaps his loneliness will be a bit less now that he has the memory of Talih to keep with him and the things they talked about. It's just a really sweet poignant little story about two people who meet by chance in a much larger story of a harsh world.

The music was absolutely lovely! It immediately drew me in and helped immerse me in the world, both when we were outside in the cold, as well as when we were all warm and cuddled up in the outpost. And the art!! Just stunning! That background of the forest is literally gorgeous??? I love the kind of cut-out style and the colors. Also during the dream sequence where there was that soft kinda pulsing light fading in and out, it really added to it a lot. The sprites and CGs were also incredibly lovely and I really enjoyed how the soft kinda muted earthy tones really helped tie everything together and give it this hearthy warmth.

Just overall a wonderful experience with two characters that are gonna stick in my mind for a while now alskdfas A really fantastic little game!! 💕

A lovely game! I love that the smooch is completely optional and doesn't affect which ending you get. Can't wait for the next game
