How do I unlock Merit’s romance route?

Do not choose any of the ‘flirt’ options for the other three in Chapter One, and when you talk to them after she had a nightmare, the option will be there, and then lock in the route at the end of the game but choosing the ‘flirt’ option again.

I’m a returning player and the game hasn’t registered my romance choice

Because when I originally created the game, I didn’t think I would make a second chapter, I didn’t add in the proper coding. To fix this, please make sure you return to a previous save before you make your final choice to “Flirt” with your intended love interest at the end of the game. You should also be able to use Ren’pys ‘Rollback’ feature to get to that choice. If you’re still having issues, I would start a new save and use the ‘skip’ feature to get caught up. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience!

Why do the characters look different in Chapter One’s CGs?

The original four CGs reflect the characters original designs for their outfits. Redoing the CGs was not within the scope of this project so I’ve left them as is. Perhaps sometime in the future I can redo them, but I was focused on creating new content this time.

There are multiple ways to complete it, there’s isn’t one right answer, just that certain answers generate more suspicion. You can escape unseen, while being chased, or you get caught.

The easiest, shortest path through is: Going through the back, heading downstairs, checking the floor for traps.
